TV needs to adapt.

The web is quickly taking over the information world - we all knew that. News, as we know it, is quickly transforming into a real-time stream of information gained quickly as we live our on-the-go lives.

So why hasn't TV adapted yet? Do the networks seriously think people will continue to "tune-in" to the 10 o'clock news for much longer?

Static information, rigid time-frames, and ultimately OLD NEWS is going to continue to hurt the TV news world. It won't be long before the Google's of the world simply hire their own reporters to simply go out and get "the product" themselves.

It's time to adapt TV. Real-time info, more robust formats, and other ways to appear relevant and give value are needed if you want to make money for another 50 years.
