Eye-Tracking - the new Nielsen Ratings
With the literally thousands of ads we're exposed to online in a day - it's interesting to see that eye-tracking is now finally starting to grow.
Ultimately, this looks to be the new "set top box" or Nielsen type measurement. Within just a few short years, we'll likely be watching most of our TV-type content on our computers anyway.
More accurate - perhaps - than just turning on a TV and tracking time - the eye-measurement appears to be more response focused. Ultimately, the movement of your eyes essentially means you're DOING something as opposed to having a TV on but perhaps not actively watching.
